About
108min DramaMary was two years old when her mother, blessed with children, gave her to her barren sister, a common custom in Morocco. Forty years later, in 1990s Israel, Mary returned from France after a long absence to marry her chosen love, escorted to the chuppah by her two "mothers". Her warm and excited family prepared for the tradition of the "seven blessings", a week of festive meals where they set a table in honor of the bride. But Mary comes to open old wounds. Amid intoxicating flavors, secrets and lies are revealed. Mary is desperate for forgiveness. Her family is sure she needs to thank them. The week turns into a tragic comedy of family sins, forgiveness, and missed opportunities.
