Social investment - an alternative source of funds
About
Social investment is the use of repayable finance to help an organisation achieve a social purpose. As a charity or social enterprise, you can use repayable finance to help you increase your impact on society, for example by growing their business, providing working capital for contract delivery, or buying assets. This session will:
explore how social investment can help with organisations diversifying income sources, rather than relying on grants, as the grant climate becomes more and more competitive.
explore what social investment is, demystifying some myths, as well as helping organisations decide whether social investment is the right fit for them.
provide insight into the process and the support organisations can access to start their investment journey.
The session will be delivered by members of the team at The Key Fund - thekeyfund.co.uk
This event is free, and lunch and refreshments are provided.
