Alexander Doronin - solo piano
About
Born in 2002, Russian pianist Alexander Doronin started his undergraduate course at the Royal College of Music in 2021 as an ABRSM Scholar studying with Professor Dmitri Alexeev (piano) and Robert Woolley (second study – harpsichord). From 2015 to 2021 he studied at the Gnessin Moscow Special School (College) of Music with Professor Mikhail Khokhlov (piano) and Olga Martynova (harpsichord).From 2013 to 2018 he has been supported by the Vladimir Spivakov International Charity Foundation.
Alexander is the First Prize Winner of the ‘Moscow Piano Open International Competition’ (Moscow, Russia; 2019).
He has also won numerous prizes at several important international competitions for young pianists including:
