PRAMS Workshop - A deep dive into our PRAMS Project
About
You're invited to join us at our PRAMS Workshop - A deep dive into our PRAMS Project at Advance Brighter Futures.
Did you know?...Our PRAMS (Parental Resilience And Mutual Support) Project celebrates it's 10th year this year!
To mark the occasion, we're carrying out a full review of PRAMS, which kicks off with our PRAMS Workshop in the 16th of July. We'll be diving deep into the project to find out what works well, if there are any gaps in provision, and if there is anything else we can do to better support parents and families in our community.
We'll be taking the approach of 'Appreciative Inquiry' during the workshop.
What is Appreciative Inquiry?
Appreciative Inquiry (AI) is a co-productive approach that takes the best of the past and uses it to build a positive and meaningful future.
‘A particular way of asking questions and envisioning the future that fosters positive relationships and builds on the basic goodness in an organisation. In so doing, it enhances an organisation's capacity for collaboration and change.’
During the workshop, we'll be led through a series of conversations that…
- Define the overall focus of the inquiry - Figuring out the project’s purpose, content, and what needs to be achieved.
- Discovers the best of what is happening now, and why and how this is occurring (the gold dust).
- Dream about how things could be in the future in order to serve more people.
- Design new or better ways of working that build on the best of what we already do.
- Deliver on our commitments in a sustainable way.
So, if you'd like to have your say when it comes to services for parents and families within Wrexham and Flintshire, and help us shape the future of our PRAMS Project, then please join us - we'd love to see you there!
