Kent College Presents: Singin' In The Rain
About
‘Singin’ in the Rain’ is being performed by Kent College’s Year 10-13 students. This timeless classic is set in the 1930s, when the transition is being made from silent films to `talkies'. With everyone having trouble adapting, Don and Lina have been cast repeatedly as a romantic couple, but when their latest film is remade into a musical, only Don has the voice for the new singing part. After a lot of coaching, Lina still sounds terrible, whilst Kathy, the bright young aspiring actress, is hired to record over her voice. With its much-loved songs and uplifting dance numbers, our production is guaranteed to get those feet tapping along. We do hope you will come along and support our talented students who have worked so hard in the early stages of this school year to bring this major show to the Great Hall stage.Location
