In this practical workshop we will explore how to develop children’s control of the key skills of pulse and rhythm with ideas for games and activities that support their musical learning. We will look at how to develop children’s understanding of musical notation, progressing from graphic scores to standard notation, and demonstrate ways to incorporate improvising and composing.
