This practical workshop follows on from ‘Progression in Pulse and Rhythm’ and focuses on how to develop children’s control and understanding of pitch, with the voice and with tuned classroom percussion instruments. The session includes simple songs, games and activities that support the introduction of pitch notation and shows how to use dots and simple staff notation to create melodic phrases.Location
