The Canterbury Tales
About
The writer of The Canterbury Tales, Geoffrey Chaucer, is dead! In a dramatic attempt to bring him back to life, medieval alchemists invite a group of Chaucer's best-known pilgrims - the Knight, the Wife of Bath, the Pardoner, the Nun's Priest, and the Miller - to tell their Canterbury Tales. This play is fast moving, has a knockabout acting style and, at times, is a little rude! Please note: material should be suitable for ages 7+ but tickets are sold at parents' discretion. There will be some audience participation.
There will be a short interval where soft drinks will be provided. The performance is expected to finish at approximately 9.00pm.
