We are excited to be holding our second Humber and North Yorkshire Children & Young People’s Trauma Informed Care Programme Conference.This conference will be of interest to those professionals who can initiate system change at an operational and strategic level, and those working within systems to support young people who have or may have experience trauma.
We are delighted to announce Nazir Afzal OBE as our Keynote Speaker: Nazir Afzal OBE, was Chief Crown Prosecutor for NW England and formerly Director in London. He was Chief Executive of the country’s Police & Crime Commissioners and most recently, National Adviser to the Welsh Government.
We will also have a series of workshops delivered by a range of professionals such as CAMHS, Humberside Police, the National ARC trainer and other Programme partners. This is a fantastic opportunity to share good practice with regards to Trauma Informed care.
