The Harriet Tory Masterclass Trust was established in 2008 in memory of Sherborne Girls Old Girl Harriet Tory (Aylmar ’86), who was tragically killed in 2005. A memorial fund was set up in her name, which has been used to support the establishment and continuation of an annual masterclass/workshop and concert with and for the pupils at Sherborne Girls, which is attended by Harriet’s family and family friends.Given Harriet’s life-long love of music and the personal support she gave to many friends to help them pursue their musical passions, we believe this is a fitting tribute to her very full and selfless life.
