The ART of Applique
About
Applique art is so useful for using up all those scraps of fabric you have saved over the years.Make your own art work to embellish bags, clothing, cushions or to frame and display. The ideas are endless its up to you and your amazing imagination! Any shape and size fabric can be used.
This workshop will teach the art of applique, all hand sewn, no sewing machine needed! You can also enhance your hand sewing skills, stiches and techniques.
This is a very mindful and relaxing activity which you can do on a cosy evening in front of the fire and create gifts or home interiors that would rival any shop bought product.
Fabric will be provided, but if you would like to bring your favourite scraps, please feel free.
Each person will go away with a piece of applique art to inspire and encourage you continue on to new projects at home.
You’ll be greeted with a glass of fizz (or a tea/coffee) along with some sweet treats.
