Join DG Outdoor Adventures leaders Paul and Pete for a picturesque 15 mile hike around the New Forest.
Starting at the free car park in Highland Water (SO43 7GQ) (What 3 Words - moves.presenter.skate) this fantastic walk takes us through heathland, woods and villages whilst hopefully seeing some of the beautiful nature in the area and without a doubt we will encounter some New Forest ponies.
The walk itself is quite flat but remember it is a long trail so you will need a reasonable level of fitness and stamina.
There will be frequent pit-stops and after 10 miles we will stop in the village of Burley which has a great array of shops and we will stop here to replenish any food or water and use the public toilets if need be before setting out on the final 5 miles.
The walk starts at 9:30am prompt and if you are not there before then we will start without you.
Dogs are not recommended to come on this walk due to the amount of wildlife and livestock plus the added aspect of having a few stiles.
Please bring a packed lunch with you as well as enough water to last up to 6 and a half hours of walking plus nibbles for energy and please dress for the weather.
