Light Up Hoad 2025 (SOLD OUT)
About
Help us to Light Up Hoad. Hundreds of people will line the zig-zag path up the front of Hoad Hill, from Hoad Lane all the way to the Sir John Barrow Monument. Tickets are free of charge. Small donations to help cover costs would be greatly appreciated. Children with tickets will receive a free LED glow stick.No dogs on the route please, as they may present a tripping hazard for others. Bring a torch, head torch, LED glow stick, etc. No lighters or flames.
Assemble in Ford Park from 6:30pm onwards. Visit the walled garden, buy a hot drink and a cake, and listen to the live music. Entry to the hill from Hoad Lane starts at 7pm. A flat area at the bottom of the hill will be marked with green and white flags for participants who don't want to climb the hill. The path and the monument will be lit up from 8pm. The monument will be open for visitors until 9pm.
