Holmbury & Pitch Hill Circuit

About
Join DG Outdoor Adventures on this lovely scenic trip around 2 iconic Surrey Hill's peaks.
A fantastic walk incorporating two iconic summits in the Surrey Hills along the Greensand way, led by Surrey Hills guide and North Downs Way Ambassador Pete Lambert.
This 6 mile walk is full of surprises, stunning views and a bit of history chucked in.
Hopefully the weather will be kind and give us some splendid vistas.
Meet at Hurtwood Control Car Park 2 (Walking Bottom) for a 9am prompt start.
Please bring with you suitable clothing as it will most probably be muddy and knowing the British weather it may rain. Also bring fluids/water and some food for energy, a camera for the views and maybe a bit of money for a celebratory drink at the Hurtwood Inn afterwards.
Parking for this event is free but the early start is because the car park fills up very quickly.
Well behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead due to walking through farmland and sudden opening's to roads.
For more information please contact walk leader Pete Lambert on 07940101732 or treks@discoverguildford.org
*Although there are no Covid restrictions at time of publishing please bring with you a facemask if desired and also some hand sanitiser as there will be gates to open.
This walk is led by experienced leaders with full remote outdoor first aid training as well as extensive local knowledge.
Cost of Hike £10
