Milly Johnson was an academic at school but opted to study Drama and Education at Exeter University. Initially aspiring to be an actress, she shifted to writing after realizing the acting world wasn’t quite as glamorous as she had hoped.
Milly found success with her debut novel at the age of 40, about three pregnant friends, called The Yorkshire Pudding Club. She has now published 22 fiction books and is not only a Sunday Times Best-selling Author but has received numerous honours and awards including the Romantic Novelists Association Outstanding Achievement Award in 2020 and The Golsboro Books Award for Romantic Contemporary Fiction for My One True North in 2021.
