TDCA are a registered charity who run both The Link and The Point Building. We not only hire halls, we also run lots of activities for the community such as children's groups, youth groups, cinema, coffee mornings and more.
Cheeky Chimps (CANCELLED)

Cheeky Chimps is a stay and play group aimed at those aged 0-5 years. We have a variety of toys out for the children including but not limited to; cars, dinosaurs, building bricks, a farm with animals, musical instruments, trampolines and more! We also include a crafting activity whether that's colouring in, making finger painted pictures or making lovely decorations for at home!
Free tea and coffee for adults, free water and juice for children.

Tiny World is a role play based stay and play group where your little ones are free to explore a range of imaginary play stations, whether they're being a chef, an artist, a builder, a vet or more, we have you covered! Come along and let their imaginations go wild and enjoy a FREE tea/coffee on us!

Stay, Play and Tuff Tray Fun is exactly that! Come along with your little one and explore a world of Tuff Trays full of different toys, interactive activities and crafts. Let your little one burn off some energy and go from tray to tray in a safe and welcoming environment whilst you enjoy a free tea or coffee!

This is our Craft Day session kicking off February Half Term! We will have an array of crafts out including lolly stick crafts - make dragonflies, sheep, bees or butterflies, paper plate crafts (flower wreaths), colouring in, paper heart trees, handprint rose bouquets and more!

This session is a great way for your little ones to burn off all that energy. The soft play is on at the point where you have the opportunity for a hot drink for the adults. Please remember socks and a drink for your little ones. The session is for two hours but feel free to come and go at you please.
Booking is recommended in advance to save disappointment on the day. I hope you can make it.

Cheeky Chimps

Cheeky Chimps is run by friendly volunteers and is over in the Point. There will be the opportunity to play with your child/ren. With a hot drink for the adults and a small snack for the children. Toys can rotate and change weekly but will include playdough, construction, small world books, puzzles and a baby zone. Booking recommended please to save disappointment on the day.

Sing Along Story Time - 0-18 Month

Sing along story time is designed for children aged 0-18 months or pre walking children. This is a lovely session where the children get to pick songs from a song bag and use props and instruments to enhance this session. The children will learn several songs which will be repeated a few times throughout the session, as at this age repetition is key. A short story will also be read in session. I hope you can make the Monday sing along.
