Join Fiona for 90minutes of relaxing yoga and a chakra balancing crystal singing bowl sound bath. We’ll start the session with some gentle movement, preparing the body for stillness, before relaxing down to a guided meditation and sound bath using crystal singing bowls aligned to our chakras. During the sound bath you will be lying in stillness, our body temperature can lower when we enter a healing state so please wear layers and bring anything you may want to be comfortable such as a pillow, blanket and eye mask.
Benefits of sound baths include:
• Helping to reduce stress and anxiety
• Promoting better sleep and relaxation
• Helping to balance our internal systems and hormones, helping to release feel good hormones

Our Balance Your Mind Wellbeing Programme is designed to empower you with the tools, techniques and support to move beyond just coping with life to truly flourishing.
This 5 week programme focuses on helping you manage your thoughts and emotions, relax your body and develop a positive mindset. Escape the hustle and bustle of daily life and immerse yourself in a deeply relaxing Soundbath meditation session. Let the soothing sounds of Tibetan singing bowls, crystal bowls, chimes and other instruments wash over you, calming your mind, body, and spirit.
No prior meditation experience is necessary. The session is suitable for all levels, including beginners. Please bring a yoga mat or blanket to lie on for your comfort during the session, alternatively chairs will be provided.

Narrowboat Canal Experience

Come along with the Rushcliffe Social Prescribing Friendship Group for a Narrowboat Experience trip with the Nottingham Narrowboat Project.
What a lovely way to take a couple of peaceful hours out, and it is a great way to take in the sights and sounds of the canal and nature! Just bring along your lunch or a picnic. Fully qualified skippers with first aid training will be on board.

Come along with the Rushcliffe Social Prescribing Friendship Group for a trip to the East Bridgford Garden Centre. A trip to East Bridgford Garden Centre is a great experience, with fantastic plants, hints and tips from experienced staff, alongside homeware and local produce in-store. The Blue Diamond garden centre features a wonderful range of products for gardening, home decor and gifting, as well as a top-notch restaurant for lunch.
Pick up and drop off location (transport provided via CT4N): Bridgford Road Car Park, Bridgford Rd, West Bridgford, Nottingham NG2 6AP.
**Please let us know if any passengers are travelling with specific mobility needs to ensure we can provide the right transport service.

Mindfulness Dip at Colwick Country Park

With the Rushcliffe Social Prescribing Friendship Group, relax and meditate in the company of others. The Whole Health team will take care of your safety in the water so can you enjoy the lake however you want to. This new swim opportunity is designed for people who wish to immerse and enjoy the lake for peace and restoration. For adults only, why not come with a friend? Support with transport available, please inquire.
Please note: access to the water is via a gently sloping ramp. Anyone with severe mobility issues can access the car park beside the lake by prior arrangement if needed. The Whole Health team are experienced in helping people with limited mobility get into the lake including wheelchair and mobility aid users - just let us know before the event so the team can support you.

Walking Football Taster with Notts County Football Club

Walking football is exactly what it says on the tin. Everything is the same as normal football apart from the pace of play, where you are only allowed to walk.
