Climbing Matters: Wellbeing through Climbing
Between Wednesday 8 January 2025 and Wednesday 12 February 2025
Join the Climbing Matters team for a free 5-week course at Nottingham Climbing Centre and experience the transformative power of climbing. Designed for individuals living with mental health challenges, this course offers 2 hours of supervised climbing each week in a supportive environment.
Course Dates:
Start: Weds 8th Jan 2025 (10am–12pm), runs weekly until 5th Feb 2025.
Start: Weds 12th Feb 2025 (10am–12pm), runs weekly until 19th March 2025.

Join us for 90minutes of relaxing yoga and a chakra balancing crystal singing bowl sound bath. We’ll start the session with some gentle movement, preparing the body for stillness, before relaxing down to a guided meditation and sound bath using crystal singing bowls aligned to our chakras. During the sound bath you will be lying in stillness, our body temperature can lower when we enter a healing state so please wear layers and bring anything you may want to be comfortable such as a pillow, blanket and eye mask.

Escape the hustle and bustle of daily life and immerse yourself in a deeply relaxing Soundbath meditation session. Let the soothing sounds of Tibetan singing bowls, crystal bowls, chimes and other instruments wash over you, calming your mind, body, and spirit.
No prior meditation experience is necessary. The session is suitable for all levels, including beginners. Please bring a yoga mat or blanket to lie on for your comfort during the session, alternatively chairs will be provided.
After the Soundbath, you're welcome to stay and enjoy complimentary refreshments to socialise with fellow participants and make new friends within the community.
Please arrive 15 minutes early to ensure a prompt start.

Yoga & Sound Workshop

Join us for 90minutes of relaxing yoga and a chakra balancing crystal singing bowl sound bath. We’ll start the session with some gentle movement, preparing the body for stillness, before relaxing down to a guided meditation and sound bath using crystal singing bowls aligned to our chakras. During the sound bath you will be lying in stillness, our body temperature can lower when we enter a healing state so please wear layers and bring anything you may want to be comfortable such as a pillow, blanket and eye mask. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN YOGA MAT ALONG TO THIS SESSION.

Join us for a Journey Towards Mental and Emotional Wellbeing.
Our Balance Your Mind Wellbeing Programme is designed to empower you with the tools, techniques and support to move beyond just coping with life to truly flourishing.
This 4-week programme focuses on helping you manage your thoughts and emotions, relax your body and develop a positive mindset. The sessions will take place 12pm-2pm on Monday 23rd September, Monday 30th September, Monday 7th October and Monday 14th October 2024. Please note, participants are required to be available for all sessions.
