IMPORTANT: **Workshops are for Registered Lakes Medical Practice (Penrith) Patients Only*** Newly diagnosed with a Long Term Condition.Runs for 4 consecutive weeks (Fridays) commencing Friday 9th September 10-11.30am
“ The Course Tutor, has 10 years experience as a Volunteer Tutor delivering self management courses to NHS patients diagnosed with a Long Terrm/ Chronic health condition. The pilot course has been designed to help participants develop skills and techniques to help manage long term health conditions – and indeed general health and wellbeing – on a daily basis. Your participation in the Pilot Course – and the feedback you provide – will enable us to make any necessary changes or updates.
The tutor himself was diagnosed with a long term condition in 2021 and his two issues are : 1. Dizziness causing balance problems 2. Difficulty digesting some foods
While we encourage the sharing of information, no pressure will be put on any participant to do so.
