Are you ready for a challenge for 2023? If so then join the Children's Appeal and abseil down Peel Tower’s 128ft drop! The tower sits on Holcombe Hill overlooking the towns of Ramsbottom and Bury.Registration is just £30 and includes the abseil experience with Alternative Adventure plus a t-shirt and medal. All participants are asked to raise just £50 for the Children's Appeal to help us to continue supporting children's services across Lancashire Teaching Hospitals.
When booking your time slot, please note the base of the tower is a 30mins strenuous walk from the car park. Please allow yourself plenty of time to get to the base of the tower. There may be a wait for your slot and the tower is very exposed. Warm clothing is essential.
Abseilers must be over 16 years (parental consent for under 18’s) and able to wear a harness with a max width waist of 56inch.
If you have any existing medical conditions, please consult your medical practitioner prior to booking.
