King Charles III Coronation Celebration

Dear residentsTo celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III, the communities of Peckforton and Beeston are invited to a celebratory event at the Village Hall on Sunday 7 May from 1 to 5pm. Open to all, including friends and family, we are hoping for a good turnout.
Admission is free but we are asking for registrations (online or by phone if preferred) to help manage numbers.
We are asking people to bring a picnic and we will be serving cakes, wine, beer, tea, coffee and soft drinks in return for donations to the hall.
There will be a quiz, prize raffles and games! And there will also be activities for children.
There will be a loyal toast to the King and then at 4pm, we will bury a commemorative capsule in the garden of the hall with some mementos from the Coronation and some messages to the future generations of Peckforton and Beeston from the children.
