The Mulhall Lecture
About
The Mulhall Lectures are organised by the Wessex School of Philosophy in memory of Shane Mulhall, the late leader of the Irish School. Over many years, Shane used to give an annual talk in Winchester on a topics related to philosophy, which were both entertaining and thoughtful. Recently, Brian McGeough, also from the Irish School of Philosophy, has continued this tradition. This year Brian intends to explore the philosophy behind creative communication. How can a dialogue be promoted that reconciles opposing opinions?
How can deeper meanings be found from seeking a 'balanced view' that creates new possibilities that benefit all?
