Exploring trees through experimental drawing, led by artist Linda Ingham.Using a variety of materials and process create representations of trees and their elements. Through some of the representations of local trees, you will look at the idea of ‘place’ and ways that trees have been portrayed in the ‘Trees and town’ exhibition.
After looking at the work of contemporary and historic artists you’ll explore ways of rendering an impression of trees through charcoal, graphite and inks.
