inspiring aspirational and lifelong learners
For our final talk of the autumn term, please join Ben Chappell and Paul O’Dwyer for a tour of academic and pastoral changes within school for this academic year. Ben and Paul will take the opportunity to explain how these changes contribute to the school development plan for bold and contemporary education at JAGS, the impact these changes have had in the Autumn term, and the practical steps pupils can make to take full advantage of a JAGS education, now and in the future.
Ben Chappell is Deputy Head Academic. Ben joined in April 2022 having previously been Assistant Head (Teaching, Learning and Research) at City of London School for Girls.
Ben has a contemporary vision for the future of the academic life of our school, based on high aspirations for all students within a modern curriculum, a curriculum that empowers and educates the whole student and shares both fun and scholarship at its heart.
Paul O’Dwyer is Deputy Head People here at JAGS, having previously been Head of Middle School at St Dunstan’s College, and an English teacher in London and the South-East for 20 years.
Paul leads EDI at the school, developing a respectful and inclusive culture which enables all students and staff to thrive.
