The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award is an exciting and challenging programme of non-competitive, voluntary activities leading towards a nationally recognized qualification. Participants are encouraged to develop those personal qualities of self-reliance, leadership, responsibility, confidence and perseverance that will help them throughout their lives and so are highly valued by Colleges, Universities and employers. The Bronze Award is open to all Year 9 students at Scarisbrick Hall School and most young people find it to be a rewarding and memorable experience.Location
