About
This session aims to provide a foundational understanding of fair and respectful treatment for all with organisations, under the context of the Equality Act 2010. Covering protected characteristics and addressing unacceptable behaviours, this workshop looks to foster inclusive cultures at individual and organisational levels. Participants will learn about addressing equality, diversity and inclusion issues, contributing to more supportive and open environments within organisations.
In the course of this session you will:
• familiarise yourself with the Equality Act 2010 and learn about protected characteristics
• understand various forms of discrimination, bullying, harassment, and victimisation
• recognise the importance of fostering a sense of belonging, treating others with respect
• acquire insights and good practices for implementing equality, diversity, and inclusion
