The Dionysus Ensemble invite you to a free chamber music concert, with music for our sextet of String Quartet, Harp & Clarinet.Featuring the world premiere of "Windrush Reflections" by Ayanna Witter-Johnson, our concert also includes Seonaid Aitken's "Platinum Suite" & the first live performance in over 200 years of one of William Herschel's "lost" Violin Sonatas.
Other pieces will include music by Finzi, Bizet & Mascagni, as well as a celebration of British folk songs.
Join us for an uplifting, thought provoking and inspiring afternoon of music, and meet the artists afterwards over tea & cake.
