As part of our Inspired to Grow project, join us on our farm to learn, grow and taste a rainbow of home-grown produce! Growing your own is a great opportunity to have a positive impact on your own health, increase biodiversity and reduce the negative impact of food production on our planet. On this course, help us plant and tend to the produce growing in the polytunnel such as pepper, aubergine, beetroot and more.This course is suitable for 13-18 year olds.
On this course you will:
Help cultivate and learn how to grow a colourful range of heritage vegetables, fruit and herbs
Understand the value of healthy soil and rich biodiversity to food growing
Help us reduce waste - please bring your own reusable cup, and share lifts where possible
