We are excited to bring you the annual Women In STEM conference hosted at the Carbon Neutral Laboratory, Jubilee Campus on Friday 8th March 2024. The conference will bring together both delegates and inspiring role models within the chemistry community to celebrate International Women's Day and showcase the contributions women have made to chemistry. There will also be a workshop-style talking focusing on imposter syndrome, and how this can be tackled.

Along with our inspirational female speakers, providing insights into their research and personal career path, we also have a variety of stalls from local industries, providing a great chance to discuss perspectives of equality and diversity within STEM, as well as to network for future career opportunities.

Poster Competition:

Finally, we would like to offer the opportunity for young researchers, regardless of gender, to present posters of their research in our poster competition, with the chance of winning prizes.

The deadline for abstract submission is Friday 23th February 2024 - 4:00 PM. Please use the word 'Abstract' as the subject of your email and abstracts should be submitted as a word.docx file.

Abstracts are limited to 1 portrait A4 page, font Calibri, font size 11 and should include:

• Poster title, author(s) and affiliation(s)
• Email address for lead author
• Research summary which can include a figure
• Relevant references (RSC format)
