About
LightAware is the only charity focused on the impact of the changing lighting environment on human health and wellbeing. We campaign for better lighting regulation for all, and advocate on behalf of those struggling to navigate daily life in a world of new lighting technology.Please support LightAware by crossing the beautiful Morecambe Bay with us on Saturday 1st June 2024. We will by guided by the King's Guide to the Sands, Michael Wilson. The walk leaves at 1pm from the shore at Arnside and takes approximately 3 hours to complete. It ends at Grange over Sands. Both locations have railway stations on the Lancaster to Barrow Line.
The walk is about 8 miles long and includes wading through river channels. Sandwiches and sun cream are essential!
The cost of the walk is £15 or £20 - £25 for the super supporter rate. Please book in here and we will email you payment details.
