Join Joshua Clarke, conservation officer for Buglife and invertebrate guide on this special torchlight harvestmen and bug hunt!On this guided walk around the grounds of the Ulster Folk Museum, you’ll be looking for Harvestmen (Opiliones) - an under-appreciated taxonomic group related to spiders. You’ll hear about how these enigmatic creatures have gained several incredible behavioural tactics to avoid becoming prey and how non-native species have been established under-the-radar. You may also find some other incredible nocturnal invertebrates!

Please note:
- This is an outdoor walking event at night time so please dress appropriately and check the weather.
- This event is only suitable for those able to walk off road.
- Some routes will be muddy and slippy so walking boots or similar are advised.
- Some torches will be available but please bring a head torch if you have one
