Midsummer Celebration
About
A chance to come together, share a meal and celebrate the wonderful projects and food citizens across North Lancashire. There will be an opportunity to look at a community composting demonstration site and meet some composting champions and have a tour of Claver Hill and see what is being grown. We will have a cooking demonstration on the open fire and share a meal together. The day will finish with music and songs around the bonfire. This is a time to relax and socialise and meet people from across the FoodFutures network in an informal relaxed atmosphere. It is also an opportunity to build connections and friendships.We ask everyone brings a plant based dish to share and their own plates/crockery to reduce waste. If you play an instrument please bring it so we can have fireside sing along, unwind and enjoy our connection with the land and the community.
