Thriving Together: Re-Building Student Resilience and Developing Student Voice in post-covid EducationThis conference, hosted by St Benedict’s School in Ealing, is designed for teachers and school leaders looking to empower their students in the post-pandemic world. It tackles the crucial topics of rebuilding student resilience and developing student voice.
Focused sessions will address:
- Hearing student voices: Attendees will learn strategies to effectively listen to and understand the needs and perspectives of their students.
- Building confident and independent students: Sessions will provide practical guidance on fostering student confidence and independence, both inside and outside the classroom.
- Sharing best practices: Connect with colleagues from other schools and exchange successful methods for cultivating student voice and resilience within your institution.
- Enhancing student resilience: Discover strategies to equip students with the tools they need to navigate challenges and setbacks.
The day will be led by experts including Andrew Hampton from ‘Girls On Board’, Monica Bhogal from ‘The Schools Consent Project’, Zoe Shuttleworth from ‘It Happens’, Laura Currer from ‘Sparkle’, Dr Emily Setty and Dr Robyn Muir from the University of Surrey and Luke Ramsden, Senior Deputy Head at St Benedict’s.
