Scottish Mountaineering Club - Cairngorms & North-East Scotland District Guide

Join us for this book launch where the 3 authors will share their connection with the Cairngorms and some of their stories about making the guide. This will be accompanied by photographs from the book, followed by a Q&A.

About the authors:
• lain Young has been a member of the SMC since 1994 and the New Zealand Alpine Club since 1996. He is an active climber hillwalker and photographer who is also a geologist.
• Anne Butler is former President of The Munro Society, current President of Mountaineering Scotland and an obsessive hillwalker. Anne has completed multiple rounds of Munros, Munro Tops, Corbetts, Grahams, Donalds and Furths.
• Heather Morning has been a member of the SMC since 2001, formerly Mountaineering Scotland Mountain Safety Adviser, and a former member of Cairngorm Mountain Rescue Team. Heather is now Chief Instructor at the Glenmore Lodge National Outdoor Training Centre.
