Orlando Murrin was flung into the culinary limelight as a semi-finalist on BBC's Masterchef, after which he edited BBC Good Food magazine, wrote six cookbooks then took off for France to set up a gastro b&b. Join him as he lifts the curtain on the surprising world of food magazines, TV cookery and cheffing - and reveals why he switched track to write his début murder-mystery, Knife Skills For Beginners. He has been shortlisted for the McDermid Debut Award at the Theakston Old Peculier Crime Writing Festival in Harrogate, for which we must congratulate him!
