About
Alistair Griffin, the singer songwriter from the North East has a reputation for writing songs for the nations biggest moments. When the Tour de France came to Yorkshire in 2014, it was Alistair's song The Road that was the official soundtrack, a duet with Kimberley Walsh from Girls Aloud. He first came to prominence on BBC show Fame Academy with a top 20 album and hit single with Bee Gee Robin Gibb. He returned with a new album Albion Sky shortly after his song 'Just Drive' entered the Top 40 after being used by the BBC for the F1 season.Since then his songs have been used at Wimbledon, the Olympics, FA Cup and British Open golf as well as his cover of Yazoo's Only You which was streamed to billions round the globe for the 2018 Royal Wedding.
Support is from Mister Keith & his Orchestra, the inventor of Victorian Pop, who brings a unique 'music hall' atmosphere with beautiful, multi-layered songs of hope.
