Tickets £20, Under 18 tickets £10.Junyan, a former Lichfield Festival Young Artist, appearing with us - to great acclaim - in July 2022, is a concert pianist, chamber musician, and collaborator with a wealth of experience across diverse musical genres. Her confident playing, characterized by virtuoso technique, warmth and vibrancy, has graced many prestigious venues. Now selected to compete in the 2024 Leeds International Piano Competition in September, Junyan continues to enhance her standing among the world's top young pianists. She has chosen to return to Lichfield to perform these pieces for us in preparation for this competition: Beethoven Piano Sonata No. 28, Amy Beach Variations on Balkan themes, Liszt Funérailles, Bartók 3 Studies, Liszt Sonata in B minor
