Restoring Hardknott Forest Volunteer Day: 24th Sept, 2024
Join us on a volunteer day to help maintain & remove tree tubes, remove non-native conifers, plant trees and allow the natural regeneration of native trees, such as birch, holly and oak.
You will need to bring lunch, a drink and suitable footwear and clothing for a day spent working outdoors. Training and tools are provided.
Meet at Hardknott Forest Car Park on the minor road south of Cockley Bridge, and north of Seathwaite/the Newfield Inn. Grid ref: SD 234 995.
