This day is for CHILDMINDERS to come together to be inspired and be the best THEY can be.Join us for a day to celebrate how childminders are making a difference to children and families, and be inspired about raising the profile and appreciation of professional childminding.

- Award winning children’s author and top class storyteller, Neil Griffiths, who has an international reputation for entertaining and inspiring.
- PACEY Associate Rebecca Martland, for a refreshing insight into how we can shape up on our financial well being as money really does matter!

9:30am - 9:45am WELCOME & INTRODUCTION - Vicky Jenkins Childcare Strategy Manager, Families, Children and Learning, Brighton and Hove City Council
10.15am - 11:15am THE SOCIAL GIFT OF LANGUAGE AND THE POWER OF PLAY - Marlis Juerging-Coles Early Years Teacher, Management Lead, Freelance Consultant will inspire us with her session of empowerment and soulfire. Championing children, a solid and loving pedagogy, and the power of language are all extremely close to her heart and this guarentees to be a joyous session that encourages us to explore what makes us stand out in a crowd and create real impact for the children in our care.
11:15am - 12.15pm THE POWER OF STORYTELLING - Neil Griffiths Educational Consultant, Inspirational Speaker, Children's Author and Director of the National Literacy Support Project. Internationally known for his unique delivery, exceptional energy, and rare storytelling gift. Neil will refresh and revitalise our skills for reading aloud.
12:15pm - 12.45pm LUNCH & OPPORTUNITY TO NETWORK (Lunch will be provided)
12:45pm - 1.30pm MONEY MATTERS AND FINANCIAL WELLBEING - Rebecca Martland Early Years trainer & consultant, PACEY associate, writer and Ofsted Registered Childminder, will give us the tools to shape up on our financial wellbeing. This session will prepare us for the introduction of the expanded entitlements, encourage us to challenge our business hurdles and help us to protect our businesses for 2024 and beyond.
1:30pm - 2:15pm BUILDING AND ENERGISING YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH MARKETING, BRANDING AND ADVOCACY - Marlis Juerging-Coles Early Years Teacher, Management Lead, Freelance Consultant will join us again for an inspiring look at how we can make the most of sharing good practice on social media and digital marketing to raise our profiles. Let's connect the dots from pedagogy and our passion for early years to think about what we stand for and what makes us unique.
