Are you looking to increase year-round sales? Or perhaps you are looking at attract new business? Do you feel that your venue could support the coach and/or groups market?This introductory session is aimed at businesses who are new to working with the travel trade and would like to find out more about attracting coaches and groups offering you the chance to learn about:

- Steps to working with the travel trade and promoting to groups

- Creating a sales kit
- Hosting familiarisation/educational visits
- Building Relationships and engaging with the trade

This session will be delivered by Cumbria Tourism’s Sales & Marketing Executive Francine Bult.
Francine leads on Cumbria Tourism’s international and travel trade activity which includes attendance at a number of events domestically and internationally supporting the travel trade to include the destination on their it.
COST AND ELIGIBILITY
The workshop is organised by Cumbria Tourism as part of the Cumberland Itineraries Project, funded by UK Government Shared Prosperity Fund through Cumberland Council and is open to any hospitality, attractions and accommodation providers operating within the Cumberland area.
This workshop is free to attend. Places are limited and bookings will be taken on a first come, first served basis. A no-show fee of £25 may apply if a registration is not cancelled within 24 hours of the event, to cover costs.
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.
