How can we get more stuff repaired and cut down on waste in our local area? What’s a repair cafe and how do you get one up and running? Want to start a repair enterprise but need some business knowledge to get started?During this session, we'll discuss the problem with our current waste system. You’ll find out about successful zero-waste and repair projects happening around the country and learn from people who run repair cafes in other parts of the North West. You’ll then be invited to collaborate on ideas for getting zero-waste repair projects up and running in North Lancashire.
The Closing Loops project is launching the second round of Pots of Possibility Your Pots grant funding in September. One of the themes the fund looks to support is ‘repairing things currently going to waste’, and the Closing Loops team will be on hand with information about how to apply for a Pots of Possibility grant.
