Fog on the down. Snow falls in hell. Arden must die.This is a true story. The events depicted took place in Kent in 1551. Alice Arden plots to kill her husband. No play had ever foregrounded before the malfeasance of ordinary people before this 1592 tragedy-cum-savage-farce, partly from Shakespeare's hand.
Approximate running time: 2 hours 15 minutes (including interval). There will be a Q&A with the Director and members of the company after the Sunday matinee.
Guidance: This play explores adult themes and includes depictions of violence, as well as exhibiting 16th-century attitudes that may be abhorrent today
