Saturday 12th October, 2024Join conductor, Matthew Thomas, and organist, Ian Pattinson, for this opportunity to sing this glorious and uplifting work as part of Lancaster Music Festival at Lancaster Priory.
No prior experience is needed as Priory Choir and Male Voice Choir members will be seated within the voice part groups to help out. You will need a score but this work is quite easy to follow. There will be scores for everyone to borrow on the day but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
Participation and Observer tickets available.
Timings:
Registration 9.30-9.55am - scores can be collected and voice parts will be grouped together so arrive in time so you can be seated in the right place.
Singing starts at 10.00am - Matthew will guide you through fun vocal exercises.
Break 11.15am - volunteers will serve tea, coffee and water.
Lunch 12.30pm - please provide your own lunch and the Priory Cafe will be open for take away drinks to purchase.
Performance 2.00-2.30pm.
