Trent College Arboretum Tours Autumn/Winter 2024
Tuesday 22 October 14:00 - 16:00
Friday 1 November 10:00 - 12:30
Former Head of Biology (1973-2004) David Pinney has been leading tours of the Trent College Arboretum for over 40 years.
With the first trees planted over 150 years ago, it is among the best in the East Midlands and one of the best school arboretums nationally. Renowned for its attractive spinneys set around the 45 acre school campus, there is even an 'OT Spinney' named in honour of Old Tridents.
David gives his time voluntarily and enthusiastically to the Arboretum and is delighted to share it with people who will enjoy seeing the several hundreds of trees, belonging to around 200 species, including some very rare varieties.
