About
Cumbria Biodiversity Data Centre, the LNRS team and the Spatial Planning Group have been hard at work developing the Stage 5 maps for the Cumbria Local Nature Recovery Strategy, which will show ‘Areas that Could Become of Particular Importance for Biodiversity’. The first draft of this opportunity mapping is due to be completed in September and the team would like to invite you to a workshop to explore this mapping in more detail.The session will allow the team to gather your feedback on the presentation, the accuracy and the functionality of the maps, and allow you to liaise with others to ensure that the maps are a good representation of the opportunities we have for nature recovery in Cumbria.
