Learn more about the comedians...
we will be holding our sixth Stand-Up Comedy Evening to raise funds for our nominated charities and Stand-Up to Cancer, compered by OG Paul Kerensa. Paul is an award-winning writer for BBC1’s Miranda and Not Going Out and has appeared at London’s Comedy Store and on Radio 2’s Pause For Thought. He's written for TV shows such as TFI Friday, Top Gear, Royal Variety Performance and Bublé at the BBC, and performed at festivals from Greenbelt to the Edinburgh Fringe via Montreal Comedy Festival. He is described as “a comic wave that just keeps coming”.
El Baldinho will open the evening; a comedian, magician, prop act who has performed on Britain’s Got Talent and at London’s Comedy Store. He is described by Stephen Mulhern as “a gag machine” and by Rich Hall as “one of the funniest things I’ve seen”.
Our final performer will be Will Mars, star of Fox’s Showtime at the Apollo, BBC’s Stand-Up for Comic Relief and NBC’s Trial by Laughter. He is described as “the apotheosis of one-liner comedy” by Kate Copstick, The Scotsman.
For the first time, some of our own students will also entertain you in an open-mic session!
