Preston Community Transport manages the community car service in the Lancaster District.Community Cars helps people through organising local volunteers, using their own cars, to make useful trips generally within a max. of 20 miles of the pickup point.
The need for this valuable service continues to grow and we always need more wonderful people to volunteer!
We are hosting this free information session for people to come along and find out more about the volunteer role.
By attending this event you are not signing on the dotted line, we want to make sure people know all there is to know before committing to this worthwhile role.
Brews and Cake will be provided!
Community Car volunteer drivers benefit from fully expensed motoring costs as well as additional insurances to protect their excess and bonus.
