Join Blackburn Chamber Choir for an Upper Voices Come and Sing to celebrate International Women’s Day! Sopranos and Altos across the region are invited to join Blackburn Chamber Choir at 3-6pm on Saturday 8th March to sing a selection of music for upper voices by female composers, including works by Hildegard von Bingen, Clara Schumann, and Isabella Leonarda, directed by John Robinson. This will be followed by a concert open to all at 7pm, featuring the Come and Sing Repertoire in the first half and local women’s choir The Decibelles in the second half.Date
