The new UK Government promises to bring significant changes to the energy sector including an ambitious 2030 clean power target, the establishment of GB Energy and a new publicly owned National Energy System Operator. Delivering on new and existing targets on our way to net zero will require rapid change and innovation in the energy system. What role can our research play, and how can University researchers work with stakeholders from industry, government and communities to deliver a clean, affordable and secure energy system?Join us in Leeds City Centre on 23rd January to hear from key energy sector stakeholders, learn about the University’s groundbreaking research, and explore how we can work together to transform the UK energy system.
