If you would like to know more about how community composting works or in need of some inspiration for local climate action then...You are warmly invited to join the
Scotch Quarry Community Composting scheme to celebrate their 1st birthday.
1:30 - 3:30pm Sunday 13th October
at Scotch Quarry park, near the Wyresdale Road entrance.
🌱 Come and find inspiration for what your neighbourhood could do to transform kitchen scraps into a healthy living (peat free) compost.
🌱 Talk to compost monitors about what is involved in running the scheme, and members who bring their kitchen scraps and cardboard to the bins.
🌱 Find out what support is available to set up a community composting scheme in your area.
🎂 Most importantly, come and eat cake and celebrate.
