Our next Be Bold! Lecture will take place on Thursday 10 October when international prize-winning economist, Professor Tim Leunig will be giving a fascinating talk on ‘the economic challenges facing tomorrow's graduates’. This talk is open to all year groups, and should be of particular interest to all those GCSE pupils who are considering studying Economics, and of course all current A Level students taking that subject. More widely, any student who is applying to Oxford, Cambridge or LSE, is encouraged to attend these lectures.
Professor Leunig has been one of the most influential figures in recent economic challenges facing the country: he was the architect of the furlough scheme which saved approximately three million jobs. He has taught at the LSE for 25 years, and at Oxford, and held visiting faculty positions in the US and Europe. For more on Professor Leunig's career click here.
